NCNW Rebrand

Established founded in 1935 the National Council of Negro Women’s mission is to lead, empower and advocate for women of African descent, their families and communities.

Building on NCNWs mission as an organization of organizations, Culture Brands led a design rebrand that would reinvigorate the brand for a new generation of women to convene.

Our new logotype was carefully crafted to capture the essence of NCNW’s legacy. Infused with African-inspired design elements and feminine attributes, the logo symbolizes the strength, grace, and enduring spirit of the women who have carried our mission for generations.

The bold lines and elegant curves of the logo represent resilience and determination, while the overall shape evokes a sense of community and unity. Whether seen in its full form or in a shorthand version, this logo speaks to our commitment to standing strong for years to come, honoring the legacy of the past while embracing the future with open arms.

Every aspect of our redesign is considered to highlight NCNW’s core mission: bringing people together. Our logo symbolizes this unity, connecting all elements just as NCNW connects various organizations.
